These are the skills that the apprentice would need to provide evidence of during their programme; IT, recording and document production, decision making, interpersonal skills, communications, quality, planning and organisation and project management.

The skills, knowledge and behaviours are assessed in the workplace through a variety of mechanisms by our tutors and assessment team

I work closely with each individual to build their confidence, track their progress, and ensure they’re fully prepared to succeed in both their role and their final assessment.

End Point Assessment

The End-Point Assessment (EPA), is the final stage of the apprenticeship. This is an impartial assessment as to whether your apprentice has gained the required skills, knowledge and behaviours set out in the apprenticeship standard.

EPA’s are designed by relevant employers in industry to assess the competence of the apprentice at the end of their apprenticeship.

The EPA for the business administration apprenticeship standard consists of the following:

Knowledge Test

A test including multiple-choice, error spotting and scenario-based questions to demonstrate knowledge and understanding required by the job role.

Practical Test

This provides each apprentice with an opportunity to demonstrate the core skills, related knowledge and behaviours required by the occupational job role.

Structured Interview

The apprentice will be required to showcase, with a presentation to accompany, how the core skills, technical knowledge and behaviours are needed in order to carry out the occupational role effectively.
