Course Information
The purpose of this standard is to enable the delegate to develop knowledge and understanding of using leadership and inter-personal skills to establish effective teams and achieve high levels of performance through people as required by a practising or potential site supervisor.
This course has a CITB grant rate/tier of £240
Course Content
- How personal leadership style affects the performance of others
- Establishing and maintaining an effective team
- Motivating the team to improve productivity
- The importance of communication to team and site performance
- The importance of feedback to individual and team performance
- Applying recognised coaching techniques to develop and improve the performance of team members
- Persuading and influencing others to achieve objectives
Duration
14 hours of training completed in three days, 9.30am – 3pm.

What’s included
You will be provided with all of the course materials and resources. You would be taught by one of our approved Tutors, but as this course is delivered remotely you would need to provide the following;
- A suitable PC or laptop that is capable of running Microsoft Teams
- A strong internet connection
- A web cam
Our courses are delivered via our virtual learning environment, and this means;
- Our approved tutors are on the call throughout the entire training course.
