Meet Nicola, our Operations Director

21 July 2025

Nicola is our Operations Director at T3 Training, having worked with us since 2017 and helped to grow the business by setting up systems and processes to allow us to deliver high quality apprenticeship training. Nicola now oversees the operations of the business and support the Finance, Quality & Administration departments.

What is your background before you came to T3?

I have worked in the Apprenticeship Training sector since I left school. I started on an apprenticeship myself at 16 as an apprentice administrator for an Engineering Training Provider and progressed quickly. I developed through completion of various apprenticeships and completed level 2, 3 & 4 which excelled my career very quickly. I moved on to become a Manager and then on to Head of Operations. I then searched for a way I could achieve an assessor/coach qualification which lead me to T3 Training and an exciting opportunity to build this new company which was offering specialist training in Digital Construction that no other provider was offering.

I am an apprenticeship ambassador because without this option I don’t know what I’d have done. College and university wasn’t for me i hated the classroom environment. I like to get stuck in and learn on the job.  I enjoy the personal growth and the ‘skills for life’ I have acquired during my career.

What is the best part about your job?

Watching the business grow and do well and being part of a team that is so committed, that support each other and care about what they do. This make’s work an enjoyable place to come everyday.

If you had a magic wand, and could change anything in the world – what would it be?

Move the UK so it can be a warm country all year long. Change the working 9-5/5 days a week routine to improve work life balance for everyone.

What do you do in your spare time?

Walking with the dogs, travelling and seeing new places, finding new places to eat, spending time with family and friends, reading, going to the gym and watching movies

Favourite place in the world to go?

Italy is the best country I have visited so far – Pasta, Pizza, Red Wine, Limoncello and amazing scenery, history and architecture

What is favourite meal?

Probably a Sunday Dinner/Christmas Dinner…… I could go on, I enjoy cooking and eating out and love steak, pasta or a Wagamama’s.
