Let’s find out a little more about Lee Drummond, our Commercial Director at T3 Training & Development.

What is your role within T3?

I’m the Commercial Director, helping to drive growth and innovation across T3. I work closely with our partners and team to make sure we continue delivering training that truly makes an impact across the AEC sector.

What is your background before you came to T3?

I come from a Digital Design Engineering background within the construction industry, mainly focused on steelwork, with over 20 years’ experience. Before joining T3, I was Director of Teaching & Learning at CADCOE, which later merged with T3 Training & Development.

What’s the best part about your job?

Working with an amazing team that shares one goal: to make a real difference in the AEC sector through innovative, industry-led training. It’s rewarding to see how our work helps shape future talent and supports businesses nationwide.

If you had a magic wand and could change anything in the world, what would it be?

To stop getting phishing calls daily from someone claiming I had an accident back in 1984!  But seriously -I’d erase inequality and make sure everyone, everywhere has the same chance to dream, learn, and succeed.

What do you do in your spare time?

I love spending quality time with family, going to the gym, and watching a good film.

Favourite place in the world to go?

Strange as it sounds… but Wales — it brings back great memories of family holidays when I was younger.

Favourite meal?

C’mon, Chinese takeaway…every time…hold on…or homecooked Jamaican food…hold on…….all food! 🍜
