Master the essentials of AutoCAD to deliver precise, professional drawings for real-world construction projects.

This bootcamp teaches learners to create, edit, and manage Civil, Structural Engineering & Architectural drawings using AutoCAD. The course emphasises construction documentation, technical drafting standards, and real-world project workflows.

Participants will gain the skills to produce accurate plans, elevations, sections, and construction details ready for professional submission

Who This Course Is For

This course is suitable for those with little or no knowledge of AutoCAD and applications within the Construction design space.

What You Will Learn

  • Understand and utilise the AutoCAD software to develop models, drawings and lists
  • Develop Structural models, including steelwork and concrete, aligned with relevant standards
  • Develop Architectural metalwork model aligned with relevant standards
  • Complete and issue clients’ drawings, fabrication packages and lists for drawings, materials and fixings.

    This course could you lead you into (but not limited to) entry level roles as:

  • Further bootcamps (BIM for AEC Sector or Revit for AEC Sector)
  • Further 3D modelling courses such as Revit/Tekla Structures
  • Level 3 BIM qualification (Pearson-accredited unit or NOCN Level 3 Award in Understanding Digital Construction Technologies)
  • Apprenticeships at level 3 (Engineering Design and Draughting, Digital Engineering Technician, Civil Engineering Technician) or level 4 (Construction Design and Build Technician)
