This 3-day Revit advanced course is designed for learners who have already completed the ‘Revit Essentials Training course’, or who have a good basic understanding of this software, who wish to take their skills to the next level.

Autodesk Revit provides the tools you need to design, build and maintain high quality, energy efficient buildings. Revit supports BIM workflows, and provides comprehensive features for your construction project

Course Content For Revit Advanced

  • Take the basic features from the Revit Essentials course and explore further the advanced features of the software.
  • Gain knowledge of how to model advanced architectural features, such as custom walls, railing and stairs.
  • Be taught how to model real-world structural elements commonly seen in construction projects, for example portal frames.
  • Be shown how to work with basic MEP elements, great for architectural design intent.
  • Explore custom Revit ‘Families’ allowing you to gain access to a world customer modelling.
  • Add custom parameters into your projects allowing for the use of intelligent annotation and scheduling.

Who Advanced Courses Are Aimed For

The Revit Advanced course is delivered by a team of vocational experts who have a wealth of experience and application of Revit through their time in industry. You will be taught real life, practical skills that will further advance your current knowledge and understanding of the capabilities of this software.

What You Need To Know

In order to fully benefit from this course you will;

  • Need to have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and be PC literate.
  • You will need to have a good, basic, practical understanding of Revit -either by undertaking the Revit Essentials course, or from relevant industry experience.

Outcomes

By the end of the course you will have gained some advanced skills and understanding of the tools required to complete 3D drawings in Revit. You will also have;

  • A portfolio of work
  • Resources and materials that you can refer back to, and
  • Basic online support for 30 days following the completion of the course

What’s included (Face to Face)

We provide everything you’ll need to undertake your training with us, including;- laptops / PC’s with the latest version of AutoCAD or Revit, course materials and handouts, being taught by AutoDesk approved trainers, lunch, and refreshments throughout the day. You’ll just need to turn up and we’ll do the rest for you.

We undertake our face to face delivery at our training centre in the Midlands.

What’s included (Online)

We are able to provide you with a Software licence to undertake this course, the course materials and resources. You would be taught by one of our approved AutoDesk Approved Tutors, but as this course is delivered remotely you would need to provide the following;

  • A suitable PC or laptop that is capable of running AutoCAD 2023 and or Revit 2023.
  • A strong internet connection
  • A web cam

Our courses are delivered via our virtual learning environment, and this means;

  • Our AutoDesk approved tutors are on the call throughout the entire training day (9am-4pm)
  • Our tutors will cover a topic, give you specific training with practical tuition, and then set tasks to be completed.
  • They will review these tasks with you throughout your training, to ensure you get what you require.
  • If further support is needed, then we can provide individual tuition to reinforce learning.
  • We can even take over your PC and show you how to do things – just as if someone was over your shoulder in person.

The emphasis is in creating a positive learning experience where all learners achieve their desired outcomes, get the training, support and assistance they need throughout the course.
