I really enjoyed my time surveying at the centre! Gary and Ethan were so supportive and made the experience so fun while we learnt and carried out the practical work.I’ve enjoyed my apprenticeship as I feel like we are constantly learning new skills that relate to my work and constantly have support in all aspects. I have gained a lot more confidence in working on things by myself and trying things even if they’re not always right first time, the opportunity to fix my mistakes and learn how to adapt is a skill I think is vital, especially in the construction line of work.I would always advise people to go for an apprenticeship as it really is the future way of learning and developing for working life! Doing an apprenticeship has allowed me to learn more proactively and creates a more relevant learning experience to go into work and use those skills directly.

“One of the things I’ve enjoyed most about my apprenticeship is the exposure to real projects and being able to contribute meaningfully from an early stage. Working as an Apprentice Planner has given me valuable insight into how project programmes are developed, managed, and communicated across teams. Alongside my work, my time at college has helped reinforce what I’m learning day-to-day. The combination of classroom learning and practical experience has been beneficial, as I’ve been able to apply theory directly to live projects, which has helped my understanding develop much faster. The apprenticeship has supported my development by combining hands-on experience with structured learning, and the support from both my team and college has been key in helping me build confidence and take on more responsibility.”

The regular update meetings i have had with Ben & Graeme have been really beneficial keeping all sides updated on both Ben’s progress within the council & his civil engineering qualification.”

“My experience with T3 Training has been excellent. The tutors were knowledgeable, approachable, and made lessons easy to understand. The support from my mentor, Steve Sugden, was outstanding—he guided me every step of the way to help me achieve my goals. The course provided me with a strong understanding of building concepts and boosted my confidence as I transitioned straight from school into the industry. T3 Training offers great contextual knowledge, supportive tutors, and a learning environment where you feel valued. I’d highly recommend them to anyone looking to develop their skills and succeed in their career.”
