As a Civil Engineering Apprentice, you will learn to produce accurate 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software. You will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians, designers and engineers in a professional design environment.

What you’ll do at work
- Learn to create, update, and maintain 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Assist with preparing technical drawings, layouts, plans, and design documents.
- Read and interpret sketches, mark-ups, specifications, and project information.
- Support the design team with drawing revisions and updates.
- Check drawings for accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain organised drawing files, records, and document control information.
- Work closely with engineers, designers, technicians, and project teams.
- Follow health and safety requirements and company procedures.
- Attend college, training sessions, or apprenticeship learning as required.
- Develop technical knowledge, software skills, and confidence throughout the apprenticeship.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:
- English (grade Grade 4 or above or equivalent)
- Math (grade Grade 4 or above or equivalent)
